Zombie Salmon

Fall in the PNW means the last, loud chapter of a salmon’s story: torn fins, faded color, and a determined swim upstream.

Some arrive a little worse for wear, but unflinching in their mission. Around here we call them zombie salmon. You can almost hear them in their final throes: "Must spaaawwwnnn."
